Ceremony Styles and Timeline

Rev. Bruce Begault, a wedding minister in Virginia Beach

Even in the intense Virginia Beach July high temperatures, heavy moisture in the air with a storm brewing, and a sand storm down the beach,  you will find Rev. Bruce Begault our in-house Celebrant Wedding Minister smiling as he anticipates your arrival to get married and say your vows!

Our wedding ceremonies offer the bride and groom, options of semi-religious or religious Christian oriented, non-denominational ceremonies - we also invite you to present your own personal statements to each other in the ceremony! You can add to your wedding ceremony the Unity Candle lighting ceremony (inside)  or a beautiful Unity Sand Ceremony. If you have any traditions personal to your heritage and beliefs, we are happy to accommodate special requests. Rev. Bruce Begault will create your personal ceremony, one that you will always remember!

On the first business day following your ceremony, Rev. Bruce will mail your signed and dated marriage license to the court where you obtained your license so that it can be recorded.  Typically within a week of recording, your license is made available for you to pick up or can be mailed to you if you provided a self addressed stamp envelope. The VA Beach Clerk's office charges $2.50 per certified copy and they prefer money order (no personal checks).  You can pay cash in person, but never send cash in the mail.   You must go in person together with proof of ID to obtain the license. You can go to any Virginia Circuit Court Clerk's Office!

Most ceremonies begin like this: Guests seated, followed by Seating of Parents & Grandparents, Groom & Officiant walk to altar, Attendant processional (bridal party), then the Bridal processional - and then a few differences:
